      That's a nihilistic view on life, which I don't subscribe to. You can enjoy quality life within the years we live and that's something to strive for. Also, while genetics do play a factor it's a small one. Genetics is the gun and environment is the trigger. You can't change one but you can fix the other. Cheers!

    I have a similar (though maybe cheaper) treadmill, but I don't use it often. I bought it because we have cold winters and bad weather in the fall and I work from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or even longer. The problem is that I have to type almost all the time, and I have to be very focused during meetings. I still hope to find a way to use it at work.

    I like very much the way you talk and what you preach, but you are wrong about HIIT being done in 60-75% of MHR, that is low intensity cardio, you improve Vo2 max with HIIT going very close to 100% of MHR, especially in the last intervals. Also, if you walk and you are in the MAF zone it means you are cardiovasculary unfit, cause I clearly run in that zone and I'm not an athlete. That said, I really like your channel and your dedication!

    If you can maintain something for 4 minutes, it's not high intensity. The latter stuff gives you 20-30 secs at most before you fail and forced to decrease the intensity.

    A lot of the probability of ageing is down to genetics and we shouldn't avoid that. I knew an extremely fit neighbour in his 70s but he died suddenly as he had genetic vulnerabilities in the heart

      Genetics is the gun and environment is the trigger. Wouldn’t place longevity all down to genetics. Our behaviors have a place in that equation.

    Great video. I found the warrior diet 20 hour fasting and mostly keto/paleo helped me lose weight and get back on track if I eat too much on weekend/vacation etc. I like the low carb during the day to keep mental focus and carbs at night for sleep I too have noticed carbs at night help me sleep glad to know its real. Liked and subscribed. For your weight training do you do a different body part each day or do multiple at a time like chest/shoulders and back/legs on other day. That's what I did but switching up to single part per day to get in more volume.

    I lose 50lbs but I took my time. My starting weight was 280. 12 months later I was down to 230. My doctor took me off blood pressure medication and high cholesterol medication. Slow and steady really worked for me I look just as good at 47 as I did at 27. I use a mix of cardio and strength training I don’t diet but I do watch what I eat. I feel great I have 17% body fat once I get to 14%. I will have reached my goal. I should be 218 at that point in my lifestyle change. Another thing guys stop drinking alcohol throughout the week and if you work out at least one day on the weekends you should only drink 2-3 alcohol beverages so you can go to the gym the next day.
